The faculty in the Operations Research area are actively recruiting bright, highly motivated, and mathematically inclined students with backgrounds in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and related areas to work on challenging theoretical and applied engineering problems.

Our faculty are performing state of the art research in big data, smart grid, optimization, cloud computing, climate change, neuroscience, renewable energy, health care, risk assessment, simulation, wireless communications, information theory, network science, game theory, and many more exciting topics.
