ERASMUS+ Education Programme

Information for Incoming ERASMUS+ Students

The School of Physics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) warmly welcomes prospective ERASMUS+ students and makes every effort to ensure that their study period is fruitful, productive, and academically enriching.

Incoming students should be aware that the courses offered by the School of Physics are taught in Greek. However, students who are not fluent in Greek and therefore unable to attend regular lectures can select courses (see the “Courses” section below) and follow them as reading courses in English. Prior communication with the respective course instructor is recommended.

Greek language courses for LLP/ERASMUS+ students are offered by the School of Modern Greek Language – A.U.Th.

The Academic Calendar at the School of Physics includes the Autumn Semester, which runs from October 1st to January 15th, and the Spring Semester, which runs from February 15th to May 31st. Detailed information regarding the admission and registration process, student benefits, the School of Modern Greek Language, and other practical matters can be found on the website of the Department of European Educational Programmes.
