FEMS launches this year the first edition of the "Master Thesis Award".

It is intended to recognize the best Master Thesis on Materials Science and Engineering, presented in any Academic Institution from the country of any FEMS member Society. Nominations must be submitted by National Societies.

The National Societies may each nominate a maximum of one candidate. To be eligible the Master Thesis should have been positively qualified, a maximum of two academic years previously.
