Abstract:
We will discuss explicit solutions of Horndeski theory (and beyond) of black holes. Via no hair theorems we will see the different ways to go about finding such spacetimes and their important characteristics (event horizons, charges, regularity of scalar and that of spacetime). We will then construct in turn stealth, secondary hair and primary hair black holes, explaining what they are exactly and their defining properties, how they are differentiated from the classical GR solutions. We will discuss the role of disformal transformations and maybe touch upon more exotic solutions like wormholes which are customary problematic in GR.
