Atomic Physics Experimental Course
Areas

The laboratory of Atomic and Nuclear Physics is accommodated on the 1st floor (East side) and in the basement (west side) of the Faculty of Positive Sciences building. The Theoretical Physics Study is accommodated on the 4th floor.

Equipment

• Systems for the measurement of radioactivity. • Systems for the study of nuclear reactions using track detectors. • Systems for the measurement of thermoluminescence. • Systems for the measurement of the characteristics of positron annihilation in matter. • Systems associated with experiments on elementary particles. • Subcritical reactor and neutron generator of 14 MeV which are found in the Bo basement of the Faculty of Positive Sciences building (west). • Clean Room laboratory for construction of radiation detectors, located in the Mechanical Engineering building.
