New Interinstitutional Postgraduate Program “Education Sciences: Science, Sustainability and Technology Education”
The School of Physics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) participates in the Interinstitutional Postgraduate Program “Education Sciences: Science, Sustainability and Technology Education”, coordinated by the Department of Primary Education of Democritus University of Thrace. Following a common first semester of study, the Interinstitutional Postgraduate Program offers three (3) specialisations: “Science Education,” “Physics Education & Educational Technology,” and “Environment & Sustainability Education.” The “Physics Education & Educational Technology” specialisation is essentially the continuation and further development of the Postgraduate Program “Physics Education & Educational Technology” previously offered by the School of Physics, AUTh, which operated from the 2018–2019 through the 2025–2026 academic year.
Attached is the Call for Applications for the 2026–2027 academic year. Please note that: (a) the relevant Government Gazette establishing the Interinstitutional Postgraduate Study Program has been published (Government Gazette B’ 3214/2026); and (b) the interviews are most likely to take place during the first half of October 2026.
