– Deuteron, potential well and Fermi energy, shell model and nuclear quantum numbers
– α-decay – tunneling phenomenon – Geiger–Nuttall law
– β-decay – electron capture – continuous β spectrum – neutrino – selection rules in β-decay – parity – Wu experiment
– γ-decay – recoil energy – selection rules in γ-decay – internal conversion electrons – nuclear resonance – Mössbauer effect
– Fission and fusion – basic concepts of nuclear reactors
– Elementary particles: quarks and leptons – quantum numbers and conservation laws
