– 1st and 2nd order circuits with independent and dependent sources.

– Linear Quadrupoles (two-port). Quadrupole parameters. T and Π equivalents. Exercises. Input-output resistances. Experimental calculation of parameters. Quadrupole connections.

– Time responses of RC – RL networks. Experimental application to charges – discharges. Responses to square pulses. Differentiation – integration.

– Transfer functions. Frequency response (amplitude-phase). Nyquist – Bode diagrams. Bell and dB. Approximation with asymptotes.

– Filter categories. Complex filters. Ideal-real (LP, HP, BP, BS). Filter combinations. Experimental implementation.

– Resonant circuits (series and parallel) as filters. Deviation from ideal behavior. Determination of ω.

– Computer simulations of circuits.

– Magnetically coupled circuits. Mutual inductance M, dot rule, coupling coefficient, etc.

– Circuit resolution (in the frequency domain), inversion in the time domain. Exercises.

– Thévenin-Norton equivalents for coupled circuits. Applications to linear transformers. Transformer equivalent circuits (type T or P). Ideal transformer.

– Conversion exercises from non-conducting to conducting circuits.

– Experimental verifications and transformer exercises.
