ΔΙΑ-Physicists AUTh Network

The Alumni Network of the School of Physics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (ΔΙΑ-Physicists AUTh) consists of researchers active in Greece and worldwide. ΔΙΑ-Physicists AUTh is an initiative network which aims to promote the interaction of all this human potential, for educational and research purposes.

The Network has a variety of interests; some indicative activities are the following:

• Participation in seminars, lectures or other events in Greece (with physical presence or not), organized by the School of Physics, AUTh. The aim of these events is to inform and encourage undergraduate and postgraduate students, in order to further elaborate in the field of research.
• Collaboration with the Network’s Universities and Institutions, with the aim of searching qualified postgraduate students (MSc and Phd students, postdoctoral researchers, etc.) to work at the Network’s Institutions.
• Development of collaborative research projects among the participants (inside and outside Greece).
• Establishment of bilateral student exchange agreements through educational programs (e.g. Erasmus).
• Development of a website with information on the research activities of the Network’s alumni (linked to the alumni’s scientific websites).
