Students of the Department of Physics who wish to undertake an undergraduate thesis under the supervision of members of the Laboratory of Atmospheric Physics may submit their application via email to the Laboratory Secretariat at rkopali@auth.gr (with CC to the respective faculty members) by Wednesday, November 5, 2025. In their application, students should indicate their preferred topics in order of priority from the following thematic areas (including the name of the proposed supervisor):
- Ground-based remote sensing (UV/VIS, lidar, Infrared) — Balis, Gkarane, Topaloglou
- Satellite remote sensing — Balis, Gkarane
- Air pollution – particulate matter — Melas, Meleti, Balis
- Renewable energy sources — Melas, Topaloglou
- Solar radiation and ozone — Meleti, Gkarane
- Climate change and global variations — Tourpali, Melas
- Meteorology — Melas, Tourpali
